Library Corner

Welcome to the New Year! Even as we move into 2010, does the word "library" bring to mind the image of row upon row of nothing but books? While still a home for a lot of books full of helpful information, the library also has more than just books and videos. They have a variety of equipment.

Some of the equipment, such as the desktop computers or the electric typewriter, is only available for use in the library. Other equipment is available for short-term loans of up to one week. Staff and faculty library customers can check out such equipment as TVs, laptops, overhead projectors, multimedia projectors, and document cameras (like the ELMO).

Check with the library to see there is equipment that might enhance your classes, department meetings or events. Call x7220 at the Downtown Campus, or x7550 at the South Campus.
