Wanted: Recommendations for student profiles

Now is your opportunity to tell the Communications and Marketing  Department a little about a student you would like to see profiled in a future class schedule!

We are  accepting ideas for student profiles that we may use in the next several class schedules. If you have someone in mind, please email Edie Jeffers:

• Student name
• Program
• Brief summary of his or her story—why he or she came to Bates, what challenges he or she has overcome, aspirations for the future, etc.

If you take the time to tell us a little about your recommended student, we will take the time to interview the person and consider his or her story for a future class schedule feature.

Please send your recommendations by Monday, March 1. We need up to 12 good story ideas for this next class schedule, but we will hold on to others for future publications.

A fresh look: New letterhead, revised logo now available for download

New letterhead templates and a revised treatment of the logo is available on the intranet at http://www.bates.ctc.edu/staff/communications/. Please use these new resources to give your correspondence and internal documents an updated look that is consistent with Bates’ branding standards.

You can use these files when printing on letterhead from your office printer. The letterhead is available in black for use when printing in black ink only, and with the logo in color when printing in color. You can save them to your desktop or a shared folder for easy access.

The logo is available in black or blue for your convenience. Please use the revised logo or the letterhead template for meeting agendas and other internal documents. Please contact Communications & Marketing for additional guidance on using the logo in any print materials.

Soon, new business cards and letterhead will be available for order through Purchasing. You should use your existing supplies before purchasing the updated versions.
