Foundation offers summer quarter scholarships
The Bates Foundation will award up to 25 scholarships totaling $13,000 for summer quarter 2010. Please visit the online scholarship application at https://scholarships.bates.ctc.edu/Stars/ to apply. The deadline to apply for summer quarter scholarships is Friday, April 2 at noon. Questions? Contact Emma Ruhl, x7160.
Clock to Credit (C2C) web page
Students can now get information about the Clock Hour to Credit (C2C) conversion online. The webpage includes financial aid information and a fact sheet covering basics on grading, registration, transcripts and more. As more information becomes available, it will be posted on this site. (d) To review negotiations on the performance of publicly bid contracts when public know-ledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased costs;
(e) (not applicable to education)
(f) To receive and evaluate complaints or charges brought against a public officer or em-ployee…..;
(g) To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee….;
(h) To evaluate the qualifications of a candidate for appointment to elective office . . . .;
(i) To discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforce-ment actions, … or litigation or potential litigation ….;
No action will be taken during Executive Session. The Executive Session will last approximately 90 minutes.

South Campus Technology Center has new hours
The South Campus Technology Center’s Walk-in Lab has new hours! The Walk-in Lab will be open Monday-Friday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The lab is located in E205 (next to the library).
Students may use the lab to job hunt, check Bates email, and to work on resumes and other assignments. Printing will require a Print/Copy Card. A student intern will staff the lab, and the intern will be able to help with basic computer application tasks.
