Get on the bus for the Third Thursday Art Walk

On May 20, save your gas and your feet and check out the Art Bus!

Every third Thursday of the month, various art galleries, businesses and museums welcome the public into their spaces at no cost for the Third Thursday Art Walk. Launched in 1989 to increase patronage to the downtown arts scene, the walk has grown to include numerous downtown and upper Tacoma businesses who wish to welcome the public with refreshments, demonstrations, artists on site and good conversation.

With locations along Pacific Avenue in Downtown Tacoma and up the hill to the Fulcrum Gallery on Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, many art walk visitors have commented lately that it's more a drive than a walk.

So for just $10, you can spend a whole evening enjoying Tacoma's art scene without ruining your favorite shoes or troubling yourself with finding a Downtown Tacoma parking space.

Visit the Peabody Waldorf gallery, Graffiti Garages, Tacoma Art Supply, Urban Xchange, The Swiss, Tacoma Art Place, Bella Balls, Smooth and Juicy, Mad Hat Tea Company, 253 Collective, and much more!

To purchase your rider button, visit any particpating gallery (you can find the list on the image below).
