Kudos to Auto Body Rebuilding and Refinishing

"I had the occasion to utilize the Auto Body shop at South Campus. It was a great experience!

Doug Yarbrough’s students greeted me very professionally as I walked in the door. Although Doug was busy when I arrived, the students stepped up and provided wonderful customer service. They let Doug know that I was there, assured me it would just be a moment, and asked me if there was anything I needed while I waited. To my knowledge they did not know that I was an employee. To them, I was simply a customer.

In less than five minutes, Doug was at my side and had a student ready. I had expected to leave my van with them until the end of the day. Instead the student pulled my van into the shop and replaced the broken mirror within minutes!

While I waited I took the opportunity to glance around the shop. The students were all working on their assignments. They were behaving very respectfully and pleasantly with staff and each other. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the shop and students. With such potentially dirty work I expected to see some mess but even the parts being worked on were neatly stacked. Especially impressive was that the students’ uniforms and tools were clean and in good repair. WOW!

My van was fixed, and I was back on the road within 15 minutes! They sent me out the door with a thank you, smile, and a wish for a good summer. WOW!

Kudos to Doug Yarbrough and the Auto Body students for doing such a great job!"
