Longtime employee says goodbye

Patty Cooley will retire at the
end of August after 40
years of service.
The Downtown Campus Auditorium was packed last week as employees, friends, family and former colleagues bid farewell to longtime Bates employee Patty Cooley.

"Thank you so much for the beautiful retirement reception. I have worked with so many wonderful people throughout my career," said Patty, whose last day is Aug. 31.

"It has been a pleasure to work with dedicated faculty and staff. I will be sure to drop by on occasion and visit."

And thank you, Patty, for your dedication and loyal service to the college. We will miss you!
