Sensitive Santa at Supermall spreads holiday cheer to kids with autism

A trip to the mall for Santa pictures can often bring anxiety to kids with special needs. Noisy children standing in line, bright lights and loud noises can make for a particularly uncomfortable experience with Santa.

Luckily, the SuperMall in Auburn will offer a "Sensitive Santa" event, featuring a sensory-friendly area, including low lighting and quiet surroundings, on Sunday, Dec. 4, 8 - 11 a.m.

Each family will receive a free photo with Santa, and enjoy festive giveaways. For more information, please contact the SuperMall.
