The college celebrated
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on
Friday, Jan. 13, in the Downtown Campus auditorium. “Service, Leadership and Responsibility: Building Community” focused on our responsibility to serve others—as Dr. King did—through building sustainable relationships across diverse communities, and shaping the future leaders of our community.
ASG Event Coordinators Sarah Foster, Technical High School student, and Erich Trevigne,
Broadcasting/Audio/Video Production student, along with
President Lyle Quasim, warmly welcomed an audience of nearly 100 people. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the featured community speakers:
Victoria Woodards, Frank Boykin Jr., and Dr. Artee Young.
